Printer Technician (Full Time)

Job Summary

Do you have experience providing exceptional service to business clients? If so, Meztek Wideformat Solutions has an amazing opportunity for you! We are a local Wideformat printing services company with a long history of tremendous growth. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated field service technician of Wide format printers.  Specific solutions that the right individual brings to the table include the ability to identify, recommend, and implement effective technical repair and maintenance solutions for our customers

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately diagnose, repair and/or maintain Wide and Large format hardware as well as software, ensuring optimum operating conditions based on the manufacturers published electrical and mechanical specifications
  • Execute field technical repair and maintenance on Wide format machines to ensure efficient services and solutions at our locations in Mississauga and/or customers’ sites
  • Assemble, install and/or remove Wide Format machines
  • Maintain an organized parts and consumables inventory accurate to within 1.5%
  • Deliver inks, consumables, parts to customers as needed
  • Consistently maintain a positive, professional behavior and image; Always display strong dependability especially related to attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of related field and technical managed print services/facilities experience, including experience installing, maintaining, removing and placement of Wide format printers
  • Formal electronics or electromechanical training or equivalent experience.
  • Proven electromechanical aptitude
  • Computer skills, some networking knowledge is a plus.
  • Access to reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record
  • Good time management skills to effectively manage and route service calls.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, in a fast-paced environment
  • Respond to client concerns and requests for information in an expeditious and professional manner

 

Compensation Based on Experience.  Car Allowance will be provided.

Junior Printer Technician (Full Time)

Job Summary

Are you interested in a career in electronics or electromechanics? Do you have a passion for problem-solving and providing great customer service? If so, Meztek Wideformat Solutions has an amazing opportunity for you! We are a local family-owned Wideformat printing services company with a long history of growth. We are currently seeking a motivated field service junior technician of Wide Format printers.  Specific solutions that the right individual brings to the table include the ability to perform technical repair and maintenance solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair and/or maintain Wide and Large format hardware as well as software, ensuring optimum operating conditions based on the manufacturers published electrical and mechanical specifications
  • Execute field technical repair and maintenance on Wide Format machines to ensure efficient services and solutions at our locations in Mississauga and/or customers’ sites. Consult with senior technicians as needed.
  • Assemble, install and/or remove Wide Format machines
  • Maintain an organized parts and consumables inventory
  • Deliver inks, consumables, parts to customers as needed
