Meztek Wideformat Solutions is a small, locally owned provider of wide format printing
equipment and services. We support business clients across the GTA with installation,
maintenance, and technical support of professional printing systems. As our business
continues to grow, we offer hands-on learning, close mentorship and broad technical
exposure that larger companies often cannot. we are looking for a Junior Printer
Technician who is eager to learn, develop technical skills, and build a long-term career
in field service.

Position Summary
The Junior Printer Technician supports the installation, preventive maintenance, and
basic repair of wide format printing equipment at customer sites and internal locations.
Working alongside our founder and CEO who is an experienced and reputable
technician, this role provides hands-on training and exposure to real-world field service
work in a customer-facing environment.
This position is ideal for a technically inclined individual with foundational mechanical or
electrical knowledge who is looking to grow into an intermediate-level technician role.

Key Responsibilities
 Assist with the installation, setup, and relocation of wide format printers
 Perform preventive maintenance and routine service tasks under guidance
 Support troubleshooting and repair activities with senior technicians
 Deliver inks, consumables, tools, and replacement parts to customer sites as
needed
 Learn manufacturer specifications, service procedures, and safety practices
 Maintain accurate service documentation and assist with parts tracking
 Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members

 Maintain a dependable schedule, punctual attendance, and professional
appearance

Qualifications & Experience
 0–2 years of technical experience OR relevant education/training in electronics,
electromechanical systems, or a related field
 Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a willingness to learn
 Basic computer skills; networking knowledge is an asset  Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
 Strong time-management and organizational skills
 Customer-focused attitude and clear communication skills
 Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
 Access to a reliable personal vehicle

Compensation & Benefits
 Base salary: $40,000 – $45,000 CAD, depending on experience and
qualifications
 Car allowance provided
 Tools, equipment, and technical resources provided
 Stable, full-time employment
